Osmosun (formerly Mascara Nouvelles Technologies) designs, builds and distributes solar desalination units running entirely on renewable energy.

Founded in 2014, Osmosun is a French SME that designs, manufactures and distributes desalination units to produce fresh water from seawater or brackish water in water-stressed areas.

The first development stage of the company has resulted in the industrialization of units running on solar power without batteries. OSMOSUN® offers a range of desalination units producing between 1 m3/day and 300 m3/day. OSMOSUN® units have demonstrated their ability to produce fresh water at a very competitive price and have many advantages for high penetration REN networks.
